Description
The DB1 single board computer provides a low power, yet capable quad core 1.2GHz optimised ARM Cortex A53 processor alongside comprehensive connectivity (Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth Classic, BLE, GNSS) and range of interfaces with industry standard connectors and supports a 12Vdc DC voltage power input. DB1 additionally supports both USB and CSI camera inputs.
DB1 can provide an ideal module for an Internet of Things (IoT) device. Or could be used to implement a flexible IoT gateway providing access to legacy devices over via three asynchronous RS232/422/485 ports and additional interfaces such as CANBUS via the SPI and i2c bus exposed on the 50 way expansion header. DB1 is an extremely versatile host board which can support a wide range of applications.
As will our other single board computers DB1 is available in our Beta range of embedded touch display modules by combining it with our LCD, touchscreen, mechanicals, cables and Android or Linux operating systems offering a validated, assembled industrial panel computer for easy assembly to your products.
DB1 offers supported flexibility and choice in operating system and software development environment: Ubuntu, Buildroot and Yocto based IoT OS BalenaOS are supported.
If you require something a little different we can provide the schematics for the carrier board free of charge (under NDA) to help you create your new product as quickly and as risk-free as possible. Please contact us for further details.
