Description
One of the original Computer on Module (COM) standards, the ETX marries the core computer functionality on module with a carrier board. The core module includes all the usual computer functions on a 114mm x 95mm footprint, with a standardised connector and signal layout. The COM connects to a carrier board which is tailored to the developers requirements. This arrangement offers all the advantages of a custom solution but with a simple migration path, reduced engineering effort and faster time to market.
Based on the AMD G-LX processor, the ETX-GLX offers a dual core processor operating at 1.2Ghz and Radeon graphics operating at 6W TDP. Incorporating some key enhancements such as two SATA connections, 2GB or 4GB DDR3 memory and four port USB 2.0 support, the ETX-GLX remains fully backwards compliant with existing ETX carrier boards.
ETX-GLX comes with OS support for Linux (Ubuntu & Buildroot), Windows® 10 and QNX. The ETX-GLX range is fully RoHS compliant and has guaranteed availability through to at least 2029.
